The Chamber has powers to levy and collect from its members subscriptions and other fees and charges, the amount of which shall determined by the General Council.

At its meeting on Thursday 22 July 2004, the General Council of the Chamber decided, inter alia, the following:

“Item 3:        Financial Matters.

Setting of Annual Subscriptions and Annual Professional Licence Fees for persons whose names are entered in the Register of Members and in Special Lists of ETEK:

The note sent by the Manager F.N.23, dated 16.07.2004, which was sent to the members together with the agenda for the meeting was examined. The Manager presented the matter and noted that the target was for ETEK invoices to be despatched to the members before the end of October.

A discussion followed and the following were decided:

1. Registration fee £30 - €51.25(fixed by legal provision).
2. Annual Professional License: £20 - €34.17
3. Annual Subscription for members over the age of 30 £50 - €85.43
4. Annual Subscription for members under the age of 30 £10 - €17.08
5. Annual Subscription for retired members no longer practicing, regardless of age and reasons for retirement £10 - €17.08
6. Annual License for those registered in the Special Registers of ETEK as practicing Land Surveyors, Land Valuators and Topographers after experience £50 - €85.43
7. Annual License for Licensed Architects after experience £50 - €85.43
8. Annual License for Licensed Technician Engineers after experience £50 - €85.43
9. Annual License for Licensed Building Technicians £50 - €85.43
10. Fee for re-examination of membership application  £30 - €51.25
11. Fee for expedited examination of application for entry in the Register of Members of ETEK for Cypriots and EU citizens:£90 - €153.77
12. Fee for examination of application for temporary membership in order to execute a specific project: £100 - €170.86.
13. Fee for examination of application for temporary membership of a foreigner who is a permanent resident of Cyprus: £30 - €51.25
14. Fee for expedited examination of application for temporary membership for execution of specific project: £160 - €273.37
15. Fee for expedited examination of application for temporary membership for a foreigner who is a permanent resident of Cyprus: £90 - €153.77
16. Professional license fee of a temporary member for execution of a specific project £100 - €170.86 annually
17. Any fees of citizens of permanent foreign residents of Cyprus, the equivalents which apply to Cypriot citizens.
18. Any fees of citizens of EU member states, the equivalents which apply to Cypriot citizens".
