ETEK ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE

The Administrative Committee is the Chamber's executive and coordinating body for implementing its policy as this is shaped by the Chamber. The General Council sets up the Administrative Committee as soon as possible after it is elected.

The powers of the Administrative Committee include the following:

a) To draw up and propose to the General Council the Chamber's annual programmes, the budget, the financial report, the annual report.

b) To decide on all Chamber issues that do not require to be referred to the General Council and on those referred to it by the General Council.

c) To determine current operational matters regarding which it transfers to the President of the Chamber the powers to make decisions, and to transfer any of its other powers to the President of the Chamber. 

d) To express the views of the Chamber publicly by way of the President of the Chamber or any other member specially authorised by it.

The Administrative Committee is composed of nine members and the five fields of engineering science with the most members must be represented.

The Administrative Committee meets on average every two weeks and decisions are taken by a majority of members present and voting.
