Kanika Developments, a member of the Kanika Group and a sister company to Kanika Hotels & Resorts, is seeking to recruit a professional Project Manager. As Kanika Group expands its activities with new projects in the fields of Hotels and Real Estate, it is looking to grow its Top Management Team. The Project Manager role involves leading and overseeing the internal project team, coordinate cross-functional teams, and managing all external relationships with third-party associates. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all project activities align with the mission and objectives of Kanika Construction Ltd. The Project Manager will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer and will be responsible for the following main areas:

  1. Project Planning: Coordinate and organize all construction projects by establishing detailed timelines, milestones and deliverables for all cross-functional teams and third party associates.
  2. Schedule Management: Ensuring that all construction projects are progressing on schedule and in accordance to the agreed deliverables. This includes monitoring progress, adjusting timelines as needed, and mitigating delays.
  3. External Relationships: Represent Kanika Constructions ltd in various meetings with third-party associates and manage all external relationships.
  4. Budget Management: Managing all project budgets including the preparation of detail budgets, monitoring expenses, making cost-effective decisions, and ensuring all projects stay within their financial constraints.
  5. Contract Management: Responsible for the management of project contracts, by overseeing the negotiation, execution, and monitoring of contracts to ensure they meet the project's terms and conditions. It requires maintaining strong business relationships and strict adherence to legal and regulatory standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in construction project management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
