THE COMPANY

• The Company is based in Nicosia, Cyprus (SOPAZ area) and its core business is to design and produce turn-key lines & solutions for the dairy sector around the globe.
• Majority of their projects are located abroad - currently we are running/initiating projects in Qatar, UK, Sweden, India and Cyprus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Lead and manage projects of our Company.
• Take part on feasibility studies and preliminary stages of a project.
• Initiate, Monitor & Control and Close a project. Be part or lead the planning and executing phases, depending on the role and MDA’s scope in a project.
• Perform scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communication, risk, procurement and stakeholder management as per the needs and responsibilities within a project.
• Perform integration and change management as required.
• Understand the implications of Health & Safety regulations.
• Work with the Management to establish and maintain a PMO.
• Provide analytical & comprehensive reports on all projects under responsibility.
• Flexibility to travel as required is a must.
• Flexibility to work unsociable hours with clients and teams in different time zones when required

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION: Education, Knowledge and Experience

• A recognized (technical) University Degree in Engineering.
• A recognized management Degree and/or Qualification and/or a recognized Qualification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of Project Management processes and best practices, tools and techniques.
• Use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Digital filling & ticketing systems and AutoCAD.
• A knowledge of works standards and practices is desirable.
• Clear evidence of strong budget management skills and financial/business awareness.
• An excellent standard of the English language, both oral and written.
• Up to 4 years’ experience of project management within industry.
